If you’re moving into a home or business where natural gas service is already available, use this form to start service in your name or transfer service from a previous account holder.
This is different from requesting a new service installation — this form is only for addresses where the gas line and meter are already in place.

When to Use This Form

You’re moving into a property that already has an OVG gas meter.
The gas may already be on, or it may have been temporarily shut off.
You’re transferring service within our service area (from one OVG address to another).

The installation of a meter by OHIO VALLEY GAS CORPORATION/OHIO VALLEY GAS, INC. shall constitute a contract for the service applied for.
